KidsWay: Children's Ministry
KidsWay is our interactive children’s program for children who are ages 4 years old through 5th grade. We lay a foundation of Bible stories, theology, and practical applications that all point to Jesus Christ. We aim to equip our children with a broad Bible knowledge that they will later use in our Teen MasterBuilders program.
What to Expect When You Visit
10:00 AM - KidsWay Assemble! - Children meet in our church auditorium for an age appropriate service. Activities include games for those who arrive early, spiritual songs, lesson-applicable skits, and a Bible message.
11:00 AM - Route 66 - Children start in the auditorium with the adults to worship God through testimony, song, and prayer. At the start of the sermon, they are dismissed to out Fellowship Hall to work on the Route 66 Curriculum. On the second Sunday of each month, children who are in 1st through 5th grades will remain in the auditorium with the adults for the sermon.
What Will My Child Learn?
During KidsWay Assemble!, children are taught a topic similar to the topic the adults are taught. Our goal is for your entire family to experience and meditate on the same Bible truths, and to then talk about the lessons on your way home and throughout the week.
During Route 66, Children are taught using the curriculum of "Route 66: A Trip through the 66 books of the Bible". Route 66 lays the foundation of Bible knowledge for our children. Like the highway that once led American travelers coast to coast, Route 66 aims to lead your children towards a close relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by mapping out the entire Bible story and showing the continuity throughout that testifies of Jesus.

The physical safety of children is paramount at ChristWay. Jesus Christ issued stern warnings and condemnation for people who injure children. All of our adult volunteers are screened for federal, state, and county violations by SafeHiringSolutions.com. In 2019, we are starting First Aid and CPR training for all of adult volunteers.
